If you are applying to become a Potential Driving Instructor (PDI), you must complete an Enhanced Disclosure before applying for your PDI registration.
Without a valid DBS certificate, your application will not be processed. You are required to verify your ID for the Criminal Record Checks via IDSP Yoti.

- Follow Yoti’s on-screen instructions carefully
- Ensure your personal details match exactly with your application
What happens if you can’t pass Digital ID via Yoti?
If you’re unable to complete the Digital ID check through Yoti, don’t worry. You’ll have the option to verify your identity in person at a Post Office.
